Op 7 en 8 februari 2025 vond de 40ste editie plaats van de algemene jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de Belgian Hematology Society (BHS). Tijdens het symposium voor verpleegkundigen presenteerden Elke Stienissen, Mariangela Fiorente, Marijke Quaghebeur en hematoloog prof. dr. Marc André de Belgische resultaten van de ‘2024 Global Patient Survey on Lymphomas and CLL’. De enquête had als doel om de behoeften en uitdagingen van lymfoompatiënten en hun mantelzorgers in kaart te brengen. Tijdens de presentatie lag de focus op de resultaten met betrekking tot diagnose en symptomen, medische informatie, behandeling en zorg, en psychosociaal welzijn.
